  • Owner of Will Power PT

    Dr. Shannon Will is the Owner of Will Power PT. Will Power PT won Baltimore’s Best Physical Therapy in 2022 and Runner up in 2023 and 2024. For the past 2 years, Dr. Will was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Loyola University’s Division I Men’s Lacrosse team. Dr. Will is currently the Performance and Recovery Coach for Calvert Hall College Varsity Lacrosse team.

    Dr. Will has extensive experience in treating the professional athlete (NFL, CFL, NBA , PLL, MLS, MLB, MMA) and Division I collegiate athletes in sports including lacrosse, football, soccer, basketball, track & field, gymnastics, field hockey and boxing. These athletes work with Dr. Will to address persistent pain or limitations, post-surgical rehabilitation and to enhance overall performance.

    In addition to physical therapy, Dr. Will is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach (USAW) and Sports Performance Specialist (XPS). She bridges the gap from rehab to sports specific loading by breaking down power, strength, and speed to its fundamental mechanics. Her treatment style includes hands-on manual therapy for pain relief followed by structured exercise including plyometrics, strength and active recovery principles. Dr. Will implements injury prevention skills, initiates movement early on after injury and works closely with each athlete to reach their full potential.

    Dr. Will is passionate about treating the whole athlete. For some student-athletes, the psychological response to injury can unmask mental health issues. In addition to rehab, she connects club teams with other health care professionals to benefit youth athletics. Will Power PT is the preferred PT partner of FCA Girls Club Lacrosse program. Dr. Will acts as the primary contact for FCA families at the time of injury following tournament or game play.

    Dr. Will serves her Baltimore community through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, One Love Foundation and promotes healthy lifestyles through partnerships with Under Armour, Pure Raw Juice, and Juice Plus+.

  • Sports Physical Therapist

    Dr. Jonathan Furrs is a Sports Physical Therapist and Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) at Will Power PT. Treating athletes and individuals across the lifespan, he has extensive experience helping individuals perform stronger, faster, and longer to achieve their specific performance goals.

    Originally from Kaiserslautern, Germany, Dr. Furrs hails from Anne Arundel County from where he completed his Undergraduate Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park obtaining his Bachelors in Kinesiology. He then went on to achieve his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore where he is an adjunct faculty member teaching the next generation of providers.

    As an avid runner, soccer and tennis player, and general fitness enthusiast, Dr. Furrs is intimately familiar with how injury can impact performance. Employing dry needling as a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT), having the capacity to build custom orthotics as a Vasyli Certified provider, and utilizing the latest and best evidence, Dr. Furrs is a hip, knee and ankle expert. Dr. Furrs has built a long standing relationship with clients and doctors in the greater Baltimore area.

  • Sports Physical Therapist 

    Ben received his Bachelors of Science degree from Towson University in Exercise Science  with special interest in strength and conditioning. He then went on to the University of Maryland School of Medicine to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. 

    Ben is certified in trigger point dry needling through Myopain Seminars, the world’s leader in dry needling/trigger point education. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Ben is dedicated to a career of learning and will continue his education in manual therapy and sports performance. 

    Ben has always had a strong passion for sports medicine and performance, treating a wide variety of athletes and weightlifters of all ages. He is driven to help all of his patients meet their individualized goals and ultimately return to their sport or desired activity. Ben has been a multi-sport athlete his whole life but mainly focused on soccer and lacrosse through college. Ben is a die hard Baltimore Ravens and Liverpool FC fan. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and family, weightlifting, hiking, and playing golf.

  • Sports Physical Therapist

    Dr. Corinne Etchison received her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University in Human Science where she was also a member of the division I women’s lacrosse team. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wheeling University.

    Dr. Corinne is a certified functional dry needling specialist through Evidence in Motion. Corinne is focused on a career in developing in the sports medicine field through strength and conditioning and manual therapy.

    Being a collegiate athlete herself, Corinne is extremely passionate about sports medicine with previous experience at Goucher College where she was treating a variety of sports and athletes. She has also had experience working with the top athletes in the sport of women’s lacrosse through the Athlete’s Unlimited Women’s Pro Lacrosse League.

    Being a runner herself, Corinne enjoys treating runners of all ages and educating individuals on the importance of well-rounded strength training and recovery in order to reach their full potential.
